It was the magical world of plants and divine beings that drew me into an awareness of the Spiritual world at a tender young age. I was guided through the maze of various realms and strange realities that has brought me to where I am today. Herbalism has been my healer as long as I can remember, so to find myself being called to Twasa, on the path of the initiate towards becoming a Traditional Healer, was no surprise, rather an incredible honor.

Before this great journey began, I ventured through various healing modalities such as Reiki, Ayurvedic Health Care, Applied Kinesiology and the astounding technique of CranioSacral Therapy. I practised in a number of health centres around Cape Town before being called to participate in the journey towards becoming a Sangoma

Traditional Healing has provided an awesome container in which I can focus my various abilities and assist in bridging and healing the great divide between cultures in South Africa.

I realised that I held a common dream with Nina whilst on one of her Reiki courses. We yearned to share the wealth of healing information we had acquired in a way that could be easily understood and utilised by everyone. We wanted to empower people to take responsibility for their health and happiness by raising their awareness to the myriad of techniques available. Thus embracing and maintaining their true potential. Makhosi! The Chakra poster was born integrating all the different healing styles we have come across.
